The card count unique to free users to give them the best experience, if you're an Unlimited subscriber you needn't worry about the following.
When you first sign up to Supernotes, you are able to grab over 100 cards on the free Starter Plan, this may seem small at first glance but it's not. It is possible for you to have access to hundreds or even thousands of cards as a free user.
We came up with a different file storage method
Conventional file storage systems are unfair and not suitable for sharing information. Currently it is always the onus of the author to host and pay for the storage of their notes. Thus leaving the readers of the notes not contributing and immediately downloading the notes โ in fear that they will not be able to access it in the future. Resulting in unnecessary duplicates, messy files and a waste of time.ย
With Supernotes, as soon as you create, join or interact with a card, it's yours to keep. And only the cards you have 'kept' will count towards your available card storage, i.e. you are only using up space for cards that interest you. Don't like them any more? Reclaim space, by junking any cards that you have kept.
Our future plans, once we release version control, is that once you have kept a card you cannot lose access. Think of it like a physical note, once it's in your hands no one can take it away from you (well almost).ย
You can increase your available cards by referring your friends. Or upgrade to our Unlimited plan and support us so we can continue to innovate.
