Cutting

Remove child cards from parents to help keep your organizational structure clean.

Updated over 10 months ago

An Author or Moderator may choose to remove child cards from a parent, which we call cutting. Once a card is cut from its parent, all members that were automatically granted access (via inheritance) will lose access, unless they interacted with a card in certain ways and kept the card.

A card is usually cut for the following reasons:

  • Poor quality / Inaccurate content

  • Duplicate content

  • Not relevant to the parent card
